(per litre) has the following composition: 0.50 g NH4Cl, 0.50 g MgSO4.7H2O, 0.25 g CaCl2.2H2O, 2.25 g NaCl, 2.00 mg FeSO4.7H2O, 1.00 ml trace element solution SL-10 (DSMZ medium 320), 1.00 ml selenite-tungstate solution (see DSMZ medium 385), 2.00 g yeast extract, 2.00 g casitone, 0.50 ml Na-resazurin solution (0.1 % w/v), 0.35 g K2HPO4, 0.23 g KH2PO4, 4.00 g NaHCO3, 10.00 ml vitamin solution (see DSMZ medium 141), 0.30 g L-cysteine-HCl.H2O, 0.30 g Na2S.9 H2O, distilled water added to 1000 ml final volume. The pH was adjusted to 7.0 |
