Microbial Isolation Source Search

Top  Previous  Next

The Microbial Isolation Source Search is a tool to query bacterial strains by their isolation sources. The isolation sources are classified by the aid of a controlled vocabulary. This vocabulary is hierarchically ordered into three levels (category 1-3) e.g. #Environmental (category 1), #Aquatic (category 2), #Marine (category 3). By choosing one of these tags and submitting the search term, the result list gets updated. The result can be further specified by adding additional tags.

Isolation Source Search example: As a first search term the TAGs #Environmental #Aquatic #Marine were selected from the the categories.

The result list shows the filtered entries. These entries can also be filtered by terms in the query form above the result list. e.g. for a distinct species or a country.
