Water samples were taken from the source of the Yumthang hot spring, North Sikkim, India. Strain was isolated on solid thermus agar containing 8 gl-1 peptone, 4 gl-1 yeast extract and 2 gl-1 1NaCl with an incubation of 24h at 60°C. |
