[Ref.: #66588]	Isolation/enrichment procedure	One gram of the soil sample was suspended in 4.0 ml of ? strength Ringer's solution (Oxoid), this suspension was shaken on a tumble shaker prior to heating at 55°C for 6 min. Aliquots (100 µl) of the 10-1 and 10-2 dilutions were spread, in triplicate, over GYM Streptomyces (DSMZ medium No. 65) and Geodermatophilus obscurus media. The isolation plates were dried for 15 min at room temperature before incubation at 28°C for 2 weeks.
