soil sample (5 g) was suspended in 45 ml sterile water and stirred for 30 min. Soil particles were allowed to sediment, the liquid was spread by the standard dilution-plating technique on starch casein medium. After 3 days of incubation at 28°C, representative colonies were picked and purified by streaking repeatedly. |
