One gram of the root material was suspended in 10 ml sterile water containing 0.85 % (w/v) NaCl. Serial dilutions were prepared up to 10-5 using the same solution. Subsequently, 100 ml of each diluted sample was plated onto nutrient agar plates. For 2 days cultivation at 28°C. |
