The soil samples were diluted serially in saline solution (0.85 %, w/v), spread on R2A agar (Difco) and incubated for one week at 28°C. An orange bacterial colony appeared on the R2A plate and was isolated as a pure culture after performing several subcultivates. The strain was designated SYL130T and preserved at -80°C in 25 % (v/v) glycerol. |
