Separation was carried out in a conical flask by adding a 10 % petroleum-contaminated soil sample in nitrogen-free mineral liquid medium, followed by serial dilution, and then spread onto nitrogen-free mineral agar medium. The plates were incubated at 28°C for 5 days. |
