To isolate halophilic bacteria, a saline soil sample (salinity 1.5-2.0 % and pH 8.0-8.2), suspended in 0.9 % physiological saline solution, was spread by the standard dilution-plating technique on a modified saline agar medium for 72 h at 37°C. |
