The dried soil sample (10 g) was added to sterile distilled water (90 ml) then heated at 70°C for 15 min. The treated soil was serially diluted to 10-3 concentration in 0.01 % sterile Tween 80 in distilled water and spread on starch casein nitrate agar. The isolation plate was incubated at 40°C for 21 days.
