What are fatty acid profile data? |
Top Previous Next |
Fatty acid profile data are information about the percentage of the main fatty acids usually limited by a cut-off value. Usually, fatty acid profiles are determined using the MIS MIDI system. Fatty acid data are always accompanied by metadata (grey fields). Essential for the interpretation of fatty acid data are the consideration of the incubation medium and temperature, as these parameters are heavily influencing the composition of the profile. Example fatty acid profile for Achromobacter aloeverae.
